Our staff has prepared planning documents, engineering plans, and specifications on many park projects, for both active and passive recreation. The complexity of these projects range from renovation of small neighborhood parks to master planning, design development, and construction documents for regional recreational facilities. Cosmopolitan has considerable experience in assisting municipalities with the coordination of public meetings, providing presentation plans for review, and discussion with citizen groups. Cascade View Community Park - Tukwila, WA
The City of Tukwila Parks and Recreation hired Cosmopolitan to provide landscape architecture and civil engineering services, including a Master Plan and Construction Documents, for their newest 3-acre neighborhood park. Beginning at the conceptual planning stage, the park's character and identity were shaped to reflect the neighborhood's diverse multi-ethnic culture. Art and neighbor involvement were important elements to the park's development.

Park Improvements - Des Moines, WA

Cosmopolitan Engineering Group provided on-call Landscape Architecture services for park improvements, including development of 1-acre neighborhood park, sports field lighting, sports field renovation, irrigation systems for three park sites, design of small marine overlook, park, design of Redondo Beach Pedestrian hillclimb, master planning for a 20-acre sports field complex, tennis and basketball court renovation and miscellaneous park improvements.
