James K. D'Aboy, PE is the founder, Principal, and President of Cosmopolitan Engineering Group, Inc., with an emphasis in Civil and Recreational Engineering assignments. He has been responsible for coordinating schedules and work activities for project teams and subconsultants, based upon the requirements of the project and needs of the client.  Mr. D'Aboy is experienced in the planning, design, and construction management of numerous facilities, including roadway, water, sanitary, and storm sewer systems; stormwater retention/detention facilities; erosion control facilities; and outdoor recreation facilities.

William P. Fox, PE is a Principal and Senior Environmental Engineer specializing in the design and evaluation of wastewater outfalls and providing assistance to clients for complying with water quality regulations.  Mr. Fox has served as a Project Manager or Project Engineer for numerous wastewater outfall and water quality enhancement projects ranging from problem identification, field sampling, water quality modeling, permitting, development, and evaluation of engineering alternatives through design and construction.

David J. McBride, PE is a Principal and an experienced Project Manager and Design Engineer specializing in water resources. His project work includes water and wastewater treatment facilities conceptual planning, facilities layout, piping and equipment mechanical and process design, open channel and pipe hydraulics, outfall hydrodynamics, computer and field modeling studies, water quality and reuse evaluations, engineering services during construction, and assistance with NPDES permitting, grant and loan funding.

Matthew J. DeBoer, PE is an environmental engineer experienced in industrial and municipal wastewater treatment and permitting, water system planning, outfall design, and conducting field studies assessing water quality. Matt is also experienced in technical writing, including development of city ordinances, permit applications, and regulatory required documents such as environmental impact statements, facility plans, operation and maintenance manuals, and water system plans.

Jason Van Gilder, PE has a broad background in wide variety of design and construction management roles and responsibilities.  His career has also included design and project management experience in various municipal projects covering facility improvements, utility distribution improvements, budget and schedule management, and value engineering contributions.  In addition, he has designed a wide variety of site development projects ranging from large lot subdivisions to individual commercial site developments.

Ronald G. Hines, PE is responsible for construction personnel coordination and quality assurance guidelines.  Mr. Hines is also experienced as a Project Manager for major projects in wastewater, civil/municipal, and solid waste.  He is responsible for overseeing the design and construction of projects ranging from street and sewer lids to large sewerage projects.  He is well versed in dealing with regulatory agencies and implementing their requirements.

Jeff Fontana is an experienced civil drafter and manages Cosmopolitan’s AutoCAD Drafting Department.  He has extensive knowledge of AutoCAD releases 12 through 2011, including Civil 3D, with strong customization skills.  Jeff is also proficient with MicroStation V8.  His emphasis is in civil, mechanical, structural, and piping drafting.

Janice Shdo serves as Cosmopolitan’s Marketing and Document Control Manager, providing graphics and word processing support to the company.  Janice has extensive experience with a variety of high-end software programs used to create marketing proposals, presentations, graphics, reports, specifications, and other essential documents.

Karen Yanasak has been Cosmopolitan’s Operations and Accounting Manager for 14 years with over 25 years in the industry.  Karen manages all facets of Cosmopolitan's finances, decision making over all office operations, human resources, employee benefits, 401(k), and event planning.

Cassie Kendall is our Administrative Assistant who is responsible for answering phones, maintaining our office file system, day-to-day office operations, and providing assistance to Janice and Karen.
